Every now and then, an email comes my way seeking an opinion as an expert. Many times they are outside my areas of knowledge and experience, so I have to pass. But recently, I got one from MoneyGeek.com asking my thoughts on three different issues, and my excitement grew as I read through the points to address.
My thoughts are now included online, along with those of other Financial Experts, to help MoneyGeek in their mission that started just five years ago, which is “to make personal finance more approachable and accessible – so anyone can be a “geek” when it comes to personal finances.”
Please enjoy these three contributions to MoneyGeek.com!

Hi Steven,
I hope you’re having a great week! I’m writing a story for MoneyGeek on Financial Literacy & Support for People with a Learning Disability and was wondering if you’d serve as a subject matter expert for my story.
Thank you!
Laura
I’ve not had any experience with that specific cohort, so I’m not much of an “expert”. But thanks for asking!
